Homage to Hodgkin T-Shirt • homage to the late Howard Hodgkin, inspired by his design for the British council building in Delhi. The black appliqué, like Hodgkins Design follows the shadows of a plant - in this case, a rubber tree plant that sits on my sill in my studio. The black, abstract shapes follow the t-shirts shape around the body and the pattern toys with positive and negative space. Black and white cotton drill, lined in crisp white cotton, hand finished with a button at the neck. Made to order in York by Rebecca Carr.
